Iceland, too! A stand on every corner. Each person has a favorite set of condiments, such as onions, or mustard, but Remoulade is universal. Local legend says that later-in-the-day dogs are better, having spent all day in the same water, more moist, muy rico. I had my own dog later-in-the-day, and it was scrumptious!
As a Dane I saw that photo and *knew* it was about Danish Hot Dogs. It's ALWAYS been a thing. Maybe even less now than it used to be! Glad you enjoyed the remoulade ;-)
So happy to see you back! And what a Treat to be introduced to the world of Remoulade! Cheers!
So happy to be back! Any condiment you’d be interested in learning about next week?
Around the world in 80 condiments??? And deep dive/history of vinegar plus pairings?? V excited to be here
WELCOME BACK !!!!
MY FAVE SUBSTACKER OMG
Love that you featured so much everyday Danish good and not just Noma...but also tell us about Noma!
trying local foods is my favorite way to learn about a new culture when im traveling! I am posting my Noma review later this evening :)
I faintly remember my Copenhagen airport hotdog from almost 10 years ago, it was so good
It is forever etched in my brain as well
That and the pastries, just amazing. I fondly remember a Sunday afternoon where my friends and I had chocolate cake in the park. Utter perfection
I spent 5 weeks in Copenhagen last summer and can’t count how many Dopp hotdogs I ate-I dream of the remoulade and crispy onions 😍
Love watching you + your condiments on TT and have now run into you here! Can't wait to give this a try!

I’m surprised you didn’t start with that Copenhagen restaurant with its mountain of butter. Heavenly.
