I’m so happy I’m not the only one who loooves (good) vanilla ice cream! I do also think growing up in France means having access to better vanilla tasting products than in North America, though that’s been slowly changing in Canada for the last few years

I too love vanilla. Claire, what do you do when you receive so many beans at once? Is making vanilla sugar/extract how you use most of them? How long have they lasted you once vacuum sealed and stored in a cool, dark place?

I went to Tahiti for my honeymoon in 2021 and my vanilla bean pods made the best vanilla 😭🥹 I'll cherish it until it gives up!
Also I had no idea that it originated in latin america! I can’t wait to try some Mexican vanilla now
