Thank you so much for making me feel so welcomed (and oddly at home) South Africa! This past week has been non-stop but also so rejuvenating and I can’t thank you enough. You can find a recap of my Banhoek Chili Oil event here and of the Oranjezicht Market here below. Stay tuned for all of the press releases and interviews!
Next Up… Down Under?
I’m coming for you Australia and New Zealand! I am so excited to tell you that I’m currently planning my book tour down under for the end of next February (sunshine and summer forever).
Since I have never been, I want to hear from YOU!
I am setting up some events in Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland but I’d love to know if you or anyone you know would be interested in collaborating (on a flavor, special goodie, etc) or hosting an event?
Words cannot describe how excited I am to finally come to your corner of the world. To be honest, I was always told NOT to go because then I wouldn’t ever come back home. I am in fact an LA girl who loves smashed avo and the beach but also the outdoors so I’m pretty positive I’m going to fall in love with it all the second I touch down?!?! It’s also been a dream of mine since I was a child to see a platypus so that is the first order of business once I arrive.
I am so looking forward to this interesting experience and learning more about your cultures! YAY!!!!!! SEE YOU IN 2025!!!!!!!!
And yes USA/Canada, I will be coming to see you as well once your version of the book is released next May… can’t wait to share the final cover with you!
Hi Claire! You should speak to a business called Gewurzhaus!
I can put in touch direct if you’d like, they’re a spice merchant who creates spice blends, and spice-infused chocolate, cookies etc! Please let me know you’d be perfect for them.
Hi Claire! Edition roasters in Sydney is definitely a collaboration/cafe you should look at!! They have a cafe in Sydney CBD directly next to the Dymocks which would be especially handy for The Condiment Book! Their matcha is so good. And not related, but you NEED to try chicken salt! It is an Aussie MUST on top of chips/fries. So excited that you’re coming to Sydney!
