Hi - Bovril is banned in Canada and the USA, but beef broth isnt...........not sure why, if they are the exact same thing. Anyways - I have had to ween myself off Bovril for the time being, very sad!!

The information about Johnston is wrong. He was Scottish born in the village of Roslin.There is a plaque outside the building where he lived.Bovril Johnston.
