I hope you’ve all had a great week and have fun and delicious plans for the weekend ahead. I am VERY EXCITED to announce that as part of The Condiment Book tour, I am going to be doing a live zoom with you all on Friday May 23rd.
Did I mention, you also get free stickers…?!
My favorite part about this job is also the most difficult when it comes to arranging events. I am so lucky that following is from all over, because I get to learn so much from you - your origins, regional specialties, even specific words you use! However, when it comes to a book tour, I was getting so many requests to go to cities spread across both the US and Canada and there was just no chance I’d be able to visit them all (and a girl’s gotta pay her bills somehow)… That’s when my publishers and I decided it would be a great idea to do a live zoom instead.
This will be a very interactive live. Since the book will already be out by the 23rd (pub date May 20th yay), you’ll be able not only to follow along the recipes but also ask questions in real time. It will be very relaxed, I really just wanna hang with you.
Since it’s the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, I thought it would be nice to make some classics together - ketchup, mustard, mayo. But of course, since it’s me it’s not really going to be classic… Think Bloody Mary ketchup, pickled mustard seeds, and French mayo!
