If you’re reading this, you’re most likely like me and splurge on a few *fancy* food goodies when traveling. Items we usually wouldn’t reach for on the shelf because of the price tag at home are simply more tempting when the price is written in a different currency. Although I don’t love to mention brands on my newsletter, I have to admit that I had been wanting to try Coconut Cult for years (yes years) so on my last trip to the US, I grabbed a mini jar of it for $10.
I immediately loved the tangy flavor and wanted the experience to last for as long as possible, so I decided to make my own.
What is Fermented Coconut Yogurt?
Think tangy, dairy-like tasting yogurt which a somewhat thick texture, full of pre and probiotics. When the yogurt ferments, a lot of the natural sugars from the coconut are also eaten by the probiotics so it’s low in sugars and great for your gut.
I’ve debated sharing this recipe because of how EASY it is but I realized quickly online that because of our super cute economy at the moment, a lot of you were interested in stretching those $10 as well. Let’s get into it.

The Recipe
No thickeners, gums, preservatives, or extra nonsense. Your gut will love it and so will your tastebuds!
Remember to NEVER double dip in your yogurt jar! Keep those healthy bacteria strains thriving.
