Welcome to the final day of your Advent Calendar! Make sure you’re subscribed to get your daily holiday recipe(s)… Expect each recipe to be quick, easy to whip up, and a fun way to spend a morning or afternoon. Instead of bringing a bottle of wine to a holiday dinner, perhaps bring a homemade delicious gift instead this year?
I wanted to share this recipe with you for many reasons. Firstly, it’s delicious. Secondly, it’s truly SO quick and easy to make. Thirdly, there’s no added sugar and if you’re like me, my sweet tooth comes out during the holidays. Lastly, and most importantly, this is a recipe from my latest trip to South Africa so it means a lot to me! I love bringing you along and allowing you to taste my travels.
Although this certainly is not a traditional South African recipe, this was served to me at the spa at the gorgeous Sterrekopje Farm. We can all use a bit of pampering so I wanted to share it with you!

The Recipe
I’ve altered the recipe a bit to suit my tastebuds but the concept is the exact same. Place them in a jar for a cute hostess gift or even serve on a plate covered in coconut flakes (aka snow) for a no-fuss dessert.
